Who do you provide tuition for?

We provide specialist English tuition for students studying Key Stage 3, GCSE and A-Level English Literature and English Language. Lessons are tailored to the individual student and designed to develop confidence, analytical skill and strong examination technique.

Sessions may include close analysis of texts, development of essay structure, writing practice, feedback on exam-style responses and guidance on examination technique. Do you prepare students for specific examination boards?

Yes. Our extensive experience in teaching and examining allows us to support students studying a range of major examination boards. Tuition focuses on the relevant assessment objectives, mark schemes and expectations required for success.

Do you have experience as examiners?

Yes. We have extensive experience working with the leading national examination boards, including overseeing the marking of thousands of examination papers each year. This provides valuable insight into examiner         expectations and the precise skills students need to demonstrate in their written responses.

Is tuition available online?

Yes. Tuition is available both in person and online. Online sessions are carefully structured and allow students to share written work, analyse texts together and receive detailed feedback in real time.

How long are tutoring sessions?

Session length can vary depending on the student’s needs and level of study, but most lessons typically last around one hour. This allows sufficient time for focused teaching, discussion and written practice.
